SAT-7 Christian television broadcasting for North Africa and the Middle East

We were blessed and encouraged by the visit and report of Jim Smith, the representative of SAT-7 who spoke with us in September.  The expansion of this Christian television programming and its reach into the homes of the millions of families across North Africa and the Middle East is amazing.  That one dollar ($1.00) is all it takes to provide an entire year of ministry to a family who can tune in on television is remarkable.

SAT-7 broadcasts 24/7/365 on three stations and partners with a fourth.  SAT-7 Arabic, SAT-7 Farsi, SAT-7 Kids, and Turk-7 (Turkish) reach across a vast area to help people see that it is Jesus Christ who is the real God.  It has recently been reported that a man high in Hamas has given his life to Christ – and now is in extreme personal danger – but prays for the rest of his family and for his people to come to know who Jesus really is and to trust Him. 

What a privilege it is to spread the news of the Prince of Peace to this area which has known no peace.  For it is Jesus who can bring peace, not imposed from without in a political solution, but by creating it within human hearts through forgiveness and reconciliation with God.  This works out into reconciliation one with another.
