The Fold Family Ministries,
A warm greeting to everyone at
“The Fold Family Ministries marked its 40th anniversary with a Founder’s Dinner. The celebration saw Earl Eldridge and his wife Cora travel in from
“One of the alumni of The Fold who flew in for the founder’s dinner . . . was Nate Lavoie, who lives in Pennsylvania, where he has devoted himself to working with troubled young people, reaching out through his job . . . and through volunteer efforts.”
Nate entered the Fold’s program in 1995 coming from a life on the streets, involved with drugs, gang and criminal activity. He went on to share about his experience with The Fold, “I heard some words I had never heard before in my life . . . a message of salvation and purpose for my life. It gave me some real direction.”
“The Fold also works in-depth with families, to try and help heal the teen as well as the entire family during their time [in the program]. The school operates year round. . and is a long-term individualized program that young people voluntarily enter for help in [a] safe and nurturing environment located in the Green Mountains of Vermont.”
It was exciting to hear the stories and testimonies from the former residents and the founder, each giving honor to God for His faithfulness in their lives. I can honestly say that all in attendance were richly encouraged and blessed.
We appreciate your continuing prayers and loving support. We praise God for you and your on-going partnership with The Fold Ministries. You are making a significant difference for troubled teens and their families for the glory of God!
Blessing to you this holiday season,
